A cabin finished in Lucky log siding with a covered porch

The look of a log home, on the house you already own.

Before you spend the time and money on a full log home, look at log siding. It may be the look you're after.

Re-side the outside of your house with our log siding and you get the look and feel of a new log home without the cost of building one or the hassle of moving. This is the most popular thing we sell to people who already own a conventional house and have always wanted a log home.

Our log siding is solid wood with a high profile pattern, so it reads as a true log. We use only kiln dried lumber, then mold and shape it, which cuts down on shrinkage and checking. Because the material is kiln dried rather than air dried, the finish keeps its looks. Without trapped moisture, checking and cracking are prevented, and heating and cooling stay more economical.

Inside the house too

Log siding works on any interior wall for the finish only real wood gives. Use it inside and out and you get the look of a traditional log cabin with conventional wall insulation between you and the weather. Your structure stays entirely conventional, so you can still choose drywall, paneling, wallpaper, car siding, or log siding room by room.

For walls and ceilings, pick tongue and groove 1"x6" or 1"x8" knotty pine car siding. Wood is a natural insulator, so real wood siding adds insulation that other sidings don't.
